About usHahndorf Rifle Club is a unique and friendly shooting club located in the Adelaide hills near the main street of Hahndorf. Competition shooting is conducted in a sitting position using a vertical post for rifle guidance or done prone. Both rifle scopes or aperture sights can be used. Centrefire targets are set at 200 yards, Rimfire targets at 100 yards.
Competitions are held on most Saturdays of the year with Centrefire & Military shoots typically on the 1st Saturday of the month, Centerfire on the 3rd Saturday and Rimfire shoots on the 2nd and 4th. Special competitions and events occur throughout the year including black powder, service rifles and the club's flagship event, the 'Kingshoot' which occurs late December. (Rimfire shoots are limited to 22LR only.)
Gates open around 10:30am with competitions starting at 12pm, visitors are welcome. Please check the events tab before turning up at the range.
